Taking full advantage of the gorgeous weather last week, our Grade 8 students traded their classroom desks for the great outdoors!
Señora Broderick turned the campus grounds into an open-air language lab, bringing Spanish to life through an energetic, interactive dialogue activity.
Working in pairs, students put their speaking and listening comprehension skills to the test in a fun, dynamic setting. Whether crafting creative conversational scenarios or building fluency in the fresh air, Señora Broderick is always finding innovative ways to keep learning exciting!

Oakridge administrators were incredibly thankful to have four stellar SMHS Peer Leaders supporting Oak Ridge's Open House last Thursday evening. SMHS Peer Leaders Brendan Cronin, Lillian Feth, Jane Malcomson, and Samantha Thompson stepped up to support our Sandwich community. They entertained young students so caregivers could focus on listening to teachers share all about classroom experiences this year. The Peer Leaders' efforts were invaluable and we are deeply proud of their service and leadership!

We are looking forward to connecting with you during our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences! We want to make the sign-up process as simple and flexible as possible.
Before beginning the sign-up process, it is helpful to have your student’s schedule with their teachers' names handy. Once you know which teachers you would like to meet with, simply find each teacher’s name on the sign-up list and select the day and time that works best for you. Each teacher has three options for scheduling:
- September 30 from 1:15 PM - 3:15 PM
- October 14 from 1:15 PM - 3:15 PM
- October 14 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
To schedule your conferences, please click the sign-up link and select the teachers from your student’s schedule. It is entirely up to each parent/guardian to decide which teachers and counselors they would like to see.
We have also included a helpful video that walks parents through the scheduling process step-by-step. We encourage you to watch the video if you have any questions about how to sign up.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to call (508) 888-4900. We are happy to help!
