As she graduated from SMHS, senior Breanna Prindle left behind more than memories, she left behind a tradition of kindness. Through her Mental Health Advocacy Project, Breanna and fellow student advocates delivered handwritten notes of encouragement to every student, reminding them that even the smallest act of kindness can make a meaningful difference.
What began in 2021 as a simple COVID-era kindness initiative has grown into a project that has touched countless lives, extending beyond SMHS to members of the wider community. On the final days of school, students opened personalized notes created just for them, celebrating empathy, connection, and the importance of looking out for one another.
Thank you to Breanna and everyone involved in the Mental Health Advocacy Project for leaving our school community with one final reminder: kindness is something we can all pass on.

Art classes turned the wall by the tennis courts into a vibrant display of creativity and inclusion. Inspired by Keith Haring's iconic Best Buddies artwork, students partnered up to trace one another in fun, silly poses before adding bold lines, colorful patterns, and unique details to bring each figure to life.
The collaborative chalk mural celebrates creativity, friendship, and self-expression while showcasing the welcoming spirit of the SMHS community. Stop by the wall by the tennis courts to see this colorful student-created masterpiece before it fades away!.

Three of our talented high school artists, Dahlia Edwards, Annabelle Marchand and Samantha Thompson volunteered their time and creativity to provide face painting during the Forestdale preschool graduation celebration.
Their artistic skills helped add an extra layer of fun and excitement to the event, and the preschoolers were thrilled to transform into butterflies, superheroes, animals, and more.
It was wonderful to see our students sharing their talents with the youngest members of our school community and helping create lasting memories on such a special day. 🌟🖌️😊

The Dungeon is back with another episode featuring the stories behind Blue Knights Athletics.
This month's show explores the mental health of high school sports, taking an honest look at the challenges student-athletes face both on and off the field. The episode also dives into the ongoing discussion of club vs. high school sports, giving athletes the opportunity to share their perspectives.
Viewers will also meet the SMHS tennis captains, who reflect on growing up together, building lasting friendships, and mentoring younger teammates. The show also highlights Blue Knight baseball players who are mentoring middle school students, and covers the SMHS Sailing Team, where strategy, teamwork, and changing conditions make sailing one of the school's most challenging sports.
