Ms. Jocelyn Greenberg and Ms. Amanda Neill's students once again hosted their annual SOUP-ER Bowl competition.
Each classroom shops for ingredients and cooks their own soup. Faculty and staff then taste both and vote on the winning soup. The event provides valuable opportunities to practice and apply a wide range of skills: shopping, cooking, marketing, customer service and sales.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a wonderful and delicious success!

Broadcast Journalism students explored the power of persuasive writing during a lesson led by Ms. Karen Sabetta and student-teacher, Ms. Kaitlin Grosso. The class focused on how journalists use critical thinking and persuasion to influence audiences in ethical and effective ways.
During the lesson, students examined the three key elements of persuasion—ethos, pathos, and logos—and discussed when and how each should be used in real-world journalism. Later, students analyzed different scenarios to identify where persuasive techniques were present and how they shaped audience perception.
By strengthening analytical and communication skills, our students become more adept writers and readers.
